Motijhil Park Murshidabad
Motijheel Park is a tourist spot of Murshidabad catering to the tourism needs of all age groups. It is in historically famous heritage town-Murshidabad, a 'Tourist Spot' to the number of many other heritage or historical tourist spots that are already existing here. Historical City Murshidabad, which was one of the largest city in the whole world. This city known as a very valuable historical place in India. Nawab Murshid-Quli-Khan renamed this city with his name. Murshidabad city was capital of Bengal, Bihar, Orissa. The great Nawab Siraj-Ud-Daulah was the last independent Nawab of this city.

Berahampur railway station is the nearest Junction railway station near Murshidabad. The N.S.C. Bose International Airport is the nearest airport at Kolkata from where Murshidabad is 195 kms by road. Regular bus services are available from various district towns of Kolkata like Burdwan, Rampurhat, Suri, Bolpur, Malda, Krishnagar and Durgapur. Some popular trains that travel to Murshidabad are the Hazarduari Express, Dhanadhanye Express, Lalgola Express and Bhagirathi Express.

Chamurchi ECO Park, a nature’s paradise

Chamurchi ECO Park

Tourists generally visit Chamurchi on a tour of Dooars though it is slightly off route on private cars. The easiest route to Chamurchi from Kolkata is boarding the Kanchankanya Express departing from Sealdah and arriving at New Mal Junction. From there can hire a car to take to Chamurchi and the fare will be 900 INR.

Chatakpur
The sanctuary with an area of 38.88 sq. km has an elevation of 1500-2600 m. Surrounded by high mountains Senchal receives a very heavy amount of precipitation. Also the Sanctuary is crisscrossed by number of streams and Jhoras. Such a water rich situation has made this Sanctuary the water supply source for Darjeeling Town. The Senchal Lake is the main reservoir of this supply.

Chatakpur

Chatakpur is located at a distance of around 16 km from Jorebungalow that lies on Siliguri-Darjeeling Road and 7 km from Sonada. Visitors have to go through the Hill Cart Road and enter the jungle trail, in order to reach Chatakpur.

Accommodation
Forest Department had made two cottage with four double bedded room and all modern facilities with warm hospitability’s from the villagers will impress you along with magnificent Kunchandzonga (The third highest peak in world). Home stay is available in selected houses in Chatakpur.
